The City of Concord engaged CME to provide construction management services for the gap closure project, which consisted of installing curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm drain piping, and the modification and relocation of utility poles. CME used partnering and other strategies to minimize delays and costs caused by a design oversight. As the project took place next to residential property, CME notified the community of the project and held meetings to discuss concerns and impacts. Both phases of the project were federally funded.
Construction cost was $1 million.
