The City of Concord engaged CME to assist in providing project management and consulting services for both phases of a pavement rehabilitation project on a major arterial. The first phase involved pavement rehabilitation from Wilcrest Drive to Latour Lane and the second from Market Street to Oakland Avenue. Due to the involvement of federal funds, meeting strict deadlines and the requirements of the Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual was essential. Much of the work occurred at night and the project required significant coordination and construction notification to the community. After completion of construction, CME closed out the project to Caltrans for final reimbursement and organized all project files for a Caltrans and FHWA audit.
Construction cost was $1.6 million.
